The new Osceola County Courthouse  was completed in March of 2001.   At six stories and  250,000 square feet in size, it is the largest government building in Osceola County.  It houses the Circuit and County Judges, the Clerk of Circuit Court departments, Court Administration, the State Attorney's Office, the Public Defender's Office and the Sheriff's Civil Office.  There are six main floors including twelve courtrooms, one video courtroom and five hearing rooms.

All persons entering any building of the Courthouse Complex including  those buildings at the Beaumont Avenue Complex are subject to both electronic and physical search.  Firearms, knives (including small pocket knives), sprays or any other item that may be considered a weapon, will be confiscated during the search process.  Bringing a weapon into any of the Courthouse buildings is considered a federal violation.  Individuals attempting to bring firearms into the Courthouse will be prosecuted.
