Collections

Pursuant to Florida Statute 28.246(4):

“The clerk of the circuit court shall accept partial payment for court-related fees, service charges, costs, and fines in accordance with the terms of an established payment plan.”

Mission and Goals

It is the objective of the Osceola County Clerk’s Collections & Compliance Office (CCO) to enforce, administer, and collect all court-related fees, service charges, costs, and fines ordered by the Court, by implementing assertive collection techniques with professionalism and integrity.

Qualified Applicants

Any defendant sentenced to a criminal charge and is court-ordered costs and fines, including restitution, are qualified applicants. 

Service Charges

Pursuant to Florida Statute 28.24(26)(a):
“The clerk of the circuit court shall charge for services rendered…For receiving and disbursing all restitution payments, per payment…3.50.”

Pursuant to Florida Statute 28.24(26)(b):
“The clerk of the circuit court shall charge for services rendered…For receiving and disbursing all partial payments, other than restitution payments, for which an administrative processing service charge is not imposed pursuant to s.28.246, per month…5.00.”
